Associazione Tutela Recupero Animali Abbandonati (Association for the Protection and Recovery of Abandoned Animals) has been a non-profit association since 2005 training people to learn how to care for dogs and other sick, elderly, disabled or problematic animals. To ensure that they receive adequate care, they need support through long-distance adoptions or donations.

For years, Spes in Parabita (Lecce) has been working with tireless volunteers to controlling stray animals and births in Salento. Two kennels and continuous arrivals require adoptions and financial support for the sterilisation campaigns and to look after the dogs hosted.
