How the Microchip Cat Flap works
Many wonder how the Cat Flap for Cats with Microchips works. Simple! When your cat approaches the Electronic Cat Door , it will recognize his microchip, allowing access exclusively to him. Once the cat has passed, the door will remain blocked, denying access to cats without a coded microchip and to other animal species such as wild cats, harmful cats and stray cats.
The PetSafe® Cat Door is designed to operate with 4 manual locking modes that allow the user to allow access only to properly programmed cats.
